Well, K's niece came through surgery great. They removed the bumps and the initial guess is that they're from an infection that got under her skin at the hospital where she was born. First K. and I were both tormented by crazy dreams and bad sleep last night and then the ride to work was literally insane. I swear there were ten times as many bad aggressive drivers on the road this morning as there usually are. And it's not even a full moon! Is there some other meteorological or astrological explanation?

Well, the rain isn't all bad. Inspiration came to me on the subway last night and I found myself scribbling out a scene both on the train and when I got home.
